Mobility Scotland are an established Kirkintilloch-based company serving Glasgow, The Central Belt and throughout Scotland. Originally tasked with SEO and smaller-scale marketing pieces, our involvement evolved into a relatively holistic branding process.

Our initial work focussed on developing a memorable, accessible brandmark. Directional arrows with a nod to The Saltire flag was the eventual result. The visual simplicity of the brandmark gave us the versatility we were looking for, without alienating existing or elderly customers.

A core component of the visual identity is FS Me – a typeface by Fontsmith distinctive for its legibility. We were particularly impressed by Me’s readability for both screen and print-based platforms. Legibility is obviously important for many of Mobility Scotland’s customers, but it also reflects the company’s core values of sincerity and honesty.

Initial touchpoints for Mobility Scotland have included stationery and an updated website – prioritising moving to the WordPress platform.
