A-Live Sound are an audio equipment rental, sale and installation company. They also provide engineers for one-off events, tours and serviced installs.​​​​​​ We were approached to update their existing identity, with a focus on their website.

Drawing on their existing logo, we created a simplified geometric brandmark based on audio and speaker schematics. A-Live’s services are largely delivered in concert and events environments – it was vital their updated identity was high-contrast enough to be visible, while reflecting the visual language of venues and artists themselves.

A-Live’s identity is given weight by two distinctive, utilitarian typefaces – Knockout (by Hoefler & Co. of New York) and Mark (by FontFont of Berlin).

Touchpoint applications develop the monotone theme, with the brandmark being particularly suited to ‘analogue’ application, like stamps and stickers.
